COPPS in the Community

About Citizens Offering Parker Police Support

Founded in 2018, Citizens Offering Parker Police Support (COPPS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created and managed by graduates of the Citizen's Police Academy program. If you're a graduate of the program, COPPS provides a unique opportunity to stay involved and continue supporting the Parker Police Department.

In addition to raising funds and making donations that directly support the Police Department, members regularly volunteer at events throughout the Town of Parker to support the greater community, including Coffee with a Cop, Citizen's Police Academy graduation, Adopt-a-Street (Mainstreet and Dransfeldt), trainings for the Parker Police Explorer Program, the Christmas Carriage Parade, Mayor's Holiday Lighting, and more.

Members receive training opportunities that build upon what they learned during the Citizen's Police Academy and have unmatched access to continue strengthening positive relationships with members of the Police Department. Members meet monthly, and volunteer opportunities are regularly available.
